The Barbados Network Consultation 2016, the 4th Biennial Diaspora Conference, is the premier networking event for Barbadians, Barbadian descendants and friends of Barbados at home and abroad. This conference was born out of the desire of the late Prime Minister, The Honourable David Thompson, Q.C. M.P, to strengthen
and expand the relationship between Barbadians at home and abroad. The timing of the conference, immediately following the Crop Over Festival, allows Barbadians in the diaspora to come enjoy our rich culture before turning their focus to finding strategies that will help our island grow. This year’s conference theme is “One Nation One Family – Celebrating 50 years of Independence - Shaping Global Citizens ”.
