The Astaphan’s “More Powder” band was the first ever Dominican J’ouvert fete to integrate powder into the party which was organized by J. Astaphans & Co. Ltd. in 2015. The event was created to provide revelers with a different experience leading up to the traditional early morning Monday “J’ouvert” reveling. Over the years, the crowd has grown to over 2000 patrons and the organizers have continued to pique the interest of its anticipated supporters.
This year, More Powder 5.0 is the most anticipated event/band for Dominica Carnival 2019. The J’ouvert package options will consist of: monokinis, rompers, tank tops, shorts, shirts, and will include accessories such as waterproof phone pouches, powder buff face masks, neon wigs, and glow in the dark lipstick.
This ALL INCLUSIVE event will host top foreign Djs from across the Caribbean and an array of local Dominican artists including Dominica’s most popular band taking the revelers on de road! (Truck)

A non-refundable fee per person is required with the completed registration form. The fee secures your participation in the More Powder Fete/J’OUVERT Band for Carnival 2019.
