DSAA is a 501c3 Non Profit Corporation in the United States and a Registered Non Profit Association in Dominica. Although we are a very young association, we are proud to share that in our first two years.

DSAA is now the official alumni association of the Dominica State College, and from the inception, we have been steadfastly focused on projects that enhance the lives of the local community in Dominica.

Notable Accomplishments:

Raising $106,700 USD (98% as of August 2022) towards our signature Dialysis Project.

Fundraiser, which was launched shortly after witnessing first-hand the challenges faced by a former classmate and friend who had to travel to Roseau to seek dialysis care. DSAA then vowed to donate 2 dialysis machines to Dominica to support decentralization of dialysis care.

Donation of EC $10,730 (USD $3,974) to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College, as part of a Volcano Relief Fund to support to the survivors of the volcano eruption on the island.

Donation of over EC $7,700 (USD $2,851) towards funeral costs of dialysis patient in need.

Raising over EC $4,200 (USD $1,556) towards a Subject Prize Fund for the Dominica State College, and donations of 12 Subject Prizes valued at EC $1,800 (USD $667) to the 2021n and 2022 graduating class of the Dominica State College which was awarded by the college to deserving students during the Commencement Ceremony.

Donation of 5 full scholarship awards to local secondary and primary schools in Dominica:

Convent High School - 2 Scholarships; Concord Primary School – 2 Scholarships; St. Martin School - 1 Scholarship.
