INTRODUCTION More Than Movement is a Talent Agency based in Trinidad & Tobago with a heavy focus on lifting the standard of Caribbean Dance Artists & Entertainment. Established in 2022, MTM has become a local leader in Dance Talent casting, working with all levels of the industry, from new comers to the top stars and brands such as Patrice Roberts, Machel Montano, Carib Beer, Digicel & More.
Led by co-directors, Curt 'Xander' Alexander & Melika 'Luna' Gillard, MTM continues to create opportunities for Caribbean Dance Talents all over the globe.
AUDITIONS - HOW IT WORKS A team of three (3) facilitators (coaches, assistants etc) will visit Barbados to host in-person auditions.
On Day 1, the audition will begin with registration of all participants, a warm up session, choreography breakdown, and retention/performance drills before the audition showcases begin. OPTIONAL - Registration will incur a fee of $, with which participants will receive official Trece Fitness clothing with their registration. After the audition, our team will review all audition footage with Patrice Roberts & her team to make the final decision collectively on who will be selected to join Patrice's core team of dancers to perform at the I AM WOMAN Concert in Barbados on May 11th 2025.
On day 2, the selected cast and two (2) understudies will be chosen and contacted, once they accept, they will be required to attend show-prep rehearsals on this day (Day 2).
On day 3, final in-person show-prep rehearsal will occur and online training will continue in the following weeks leading up to the show, with one full in-person dress rehearsal happening on the of and/or the day prior to the I AM WOMAN Concert.
